The Gelish soak-off removal method uses gel remover applied to a lint-free pad, wrapped against the nail with a foil square or remover clip, and left to penetrate for 10–15 minutes. This method allows the remover to break down the gel bond from underneath, so the softened product can be gently wiped away with minimal surface disturbance to the natural nail.
Remover foil wraps and soaker clips are the tools that hold the remover-soaked pad against the nail during the soak-off process. Foil squares are cut from aluminium foil or purchased pre-cut, and soaker clips are reusable silicone clips that apply gentle pressure to keep the remover pad in contact with the nail. Both methods are equally effective — the choice is a matter of preference and speed.
